Born on 9 January 1936, Dr. Ram Shanker Tiwari is an internationally reputed scientist. Retired in 1996 as the Director, Birbal Sahni Institute of Palaeobotany, Lucknow, he has been a Gold Medal Awardee an Alexander von Humboldt Research Fellow, Germany; Secretary, The Palaeobotanical Society; Chief Editor of two International Scientific Journals Emeritus Scientist, CSIR, New Delhi and has contributed around 150 original research papers and chapters in books. Dr. Tiwari has vast experience and knowledge about multiple facets of life globally, with training in science and attainment in spirituality. Against the backdrop of his world-wide assignments through 25 years and analytical meditative thinking, he has, so far, published eight books to cite a few The Yoga of Gita (2003) Win the Battle of Conflicts Within (2009) The Four Stroke Success (2006), The Reality of Personal God (2007).
